Large Feathered String Bag, Western Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Woven vegetable fibre string and feathers. A feathered string bag. The dyed string is used in bands of solid colour to form horizontal stripes. It has a multistrand handle made of vegetable fibre string looped through the rim at opposite sides of the bag.
